Heroism on an epic stage and a race against time and rivals.

At the core of the drama is the relationship between two friends and their increasingly diverging attitude to this ‘alien’ land and its aboriginal people.  Lands Surveyor T.L. MUSKER is obsessed to the point of madness with the work and the deadline.  JAMES DUNRAVEN, his friend since childhood, is drawn away by the timeless landscape and the mysteries of its Kaitich guardians.

The bitter conflict between the two friends is complicated by a secret, and the private feud intensifies to threaten the public enterprise and tear the two friends apart with savage and fatal consequences.
